Minimum
Income
Minimum
Income
Minimum income for all, then taxed from the first penny earned.
This
will be run by the local authority financed by the central government Tax
office.
All
adults will receive a Minimum income. All children will also receive percentage
of the amount, depending on age/long term disability.
Due
to increasing use of Artificial intelligence within companies and by
governments the need to give everyone a basic income is essential without the
bureaucracy of means testing.
People
with lifetime disabilities will have an increased minimum income depending on
their disability. If the person needs 24 hour care, they will either join a residential
unit or be put in a local authority facility. If the need is medically
assumed to be temporary the minimum income will be given to the residential
unit or the Authority for the duration. If the need is permanent the assets
of the individual concerned is added to the income of the residential unit or
local authority. If the decision is made to join a residential
unit this is a permanent decision and if the “parents” change their minds
all the income transferred will be then given to the Local Authority.
People
with temporary disabilities, for a defined period of time, will temporally
receive an increased minimum income. This should cover the needs of
people.
The
needs will be defined by the government, 8 kilowatt hours of energy (price
decided by government, funded by the supplier) see energy per day per adult and £5 per day per
adult for food. (half for people under 12) This should be enough to keep body
and soul together. Amounts will be increased to cover long term disabilities
